Accommodation

North West 200 on the North Coast

The North Coast is an area of exceptional beauty, offering some of the most breathtaking and dramatic countryside in Northern Ireland. The area boasts the picturesque seaside resorts of Portrush, Portstewart, Portballintrae, Downhill and Castlerock, the busy shopping towns of Coleraine and Ballymoney and the small market towns of Kilrea and Garvagh.

Race week in the triangle area (Portrush, Portstewart and Coleraine) is the highlight of the calendar year for thousands of domestic and international spectators. As many race goers travel to the North West 200 on an annual basis, they retain their accommodation bookings on a year on year basis, so bed spaces are therefore at a premium.

Accommodation that becomes available is very often let on the basis of a minimum 4 night stay and ideally longer, as the event has now grown into a week long festival, with first practice night traditionally beginning on the Tuesday.
