Description:
Scots ace Shand made his North West 200 debut in 2004 and immediately impressed, finishing 4th in the Superstock race, a result he repeated 12 months later. Got his first podium in the first Supersport race in 2006, narrowly defeated by Bruce Anstey but missed the 2007 event due to injury. Returned in 2008 and chalked up four top-12 finishes with 3rd in the 400cc race giving him his second ever podium.
