Air Ambulance And Headway recieve funds from Mayors Black Tie Event

Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Michelle Knight-McQuillan; Armoy Road Races’ Clerk of the Course, Bill Kennedy; Air Ambulance NI’s Ian Crowe; The Vauxhall International North West 200 Event Director, Mervyn Whyte MBE; and Chair Frances McGarry and Causeway Representative from Headway.

Mayor of Causeway Coast and Glens Borough Council, Councillor Michelle Knight-McQuillan, supported by The Vauxhall International North West 200 and Armoy Road Races, hosted a Charity Black Tie Dinner on Saturday 7th May in the Vauxhall International North West 200 Hospitality Marquee, Portstewart in aid of Air Ambulance NI and Headway – the Brain Injury Association. The Mayor presented both charities with a cheque of £5000 each. The proceeds of which came from all those who attended, and from the auction and ballot on the night. A special thanks to everyone who contributed to the success of the event.
