Breedon Group plc- a leading vertically integrated construction materials group in Great Britain and Ireland that delivers essential products to the construction sector- has been a staunch  supporter of the Briggs Equipment North West 200 over several seasons and the company is back on board for 2024.

During a recent visit to the north coast, six times North West 200 winner, John McGuinness, met some of the Breedon employees who have been engaged in preparations for this year’s May 6-11 race week.

“It’s great to see everything progressing with everyone working hard to pull it all together for May.” the Honda Racing star said.

“We couldn’t be out there on the coast road doing what we do if it wasn’t for all the effort made by Breedon and everyone else who is putting their shoulder to the NW200 wheel.”

Breedon currently holds one billion tonnes of mineral reserves and resources with long reserve life, enabling the supply of value-added products and services, including specialty materials, surfacing and highway maintenance operations, to a broad range of customers through its extensive local network of quarries, ready-mixed concrete, and asphalt plants.

The Group’s two well-invested cement plants are actively engaged in a number of carbon reduction practices, which include utilising alternative raw materials and lower carbon fuels.

Breedon’s 3,700 colleagues embody the company’s commitment to ‘Make a Material Difference’ as the Group continues to execute its strategy to create sustainable value for all stakeholders, delivering growth through organic improvement and acquisition in the heavyside construction materials market.
